i just received shipment from a Florida company who shall remain nameless. They shipped ground and it took 3 days to get here. The water in the shipping bags was 45 degrees F. Will they survive. I'm floating them in sealed bags in water that is also 45 degrees and slowly raising the temp to match my tank.

Upload pictures when you can, that will help us. Raise the temperature slowly but don't take too long (there's a fine line) with other acclimations as the water is probably quite nasty. If it is, you may want to just dip them and add them to avoid any more time in disgusting water.

Won't that just shock them further? I don't have anything to dip in besides hydrogen peroxide.

Wooooow. Following along in case it ever happens. Sorry about your luck

Is a peroxide did worth doing. Will it remove pests ? Will it hurt the already stressed corals ?

I'm not sure what they sent. They were free. An apology for sending live rock that had a lot of die off. IMG_20170311_154924436.jpg IMG_20170311_155009957.jpg IMG_20170311_155037579.jpg IMG_20170311_154937369.jpg

Favia vs Goniastrea perhaps
Zoanthid
Zoanthid

They do not look to bad.

First one is likely a Dipsastraea, formerly known as Favia, second one could be Goniastrea, or leptoseris it's hard to tell. Others are Zoas they look okay. The other two seem to have tissue but look on their way out.
