A few changes. On a sad note lost my Yellow Scopas tang. One night she looked completely normal, the next morning she was 99% gone. Moved her to my small tank, she was there just barely and was gone by noon.
Some fighting between my tomini and potter angel after that, so I added a piece of reflective window tint to the right side of the tank and they are doing well.
Added some new corals to the tank. Visited a local reefer with a beautiful tank and was able to pick up some nice montis, Yellow tip acro, Digi and clove polyps. Really started to fill in the SPS zone and it is looking nice. Also added a PC coral, Jedi mind trick and WWC rainbow monti from Boom Corals (in Milwaukee) and a really nice sunkist bounce and tiny little baby PZ godspawn. Knicks torch was looking good so moved it back to the DT.
Tried my hand at fragging some LPS. Duncan was easy, just clip off a head. HG micro not so good. I only have a clipper and I think you just need one of those coral bandsaws for that.
Lighting change is complete. Decided to just drop the radions and go kessil + reefbrite. Corals are responding really well. Can hit 800+ par on my SPS shelf (running 300-400 right now, with the LPS side at 200 par).
Upgraded my uv from 15 to 57 watt. Nice that Aqua UV uses the same connectors and the 57 is only slightly longer, so I was able to just slip it right in. I think the 15 was a little undersized since I am running ~700 GPH. Will probably be posting the 15W soon in case someone is looking for one.
Contemplating adding a few extra fish. Maybe an Anthias Trio.
