Would YOU ever attach acro frags to your back wall?

I have a Green Slimer and Pink Lemonade on my back wall. On my left wall I have a Birds of Paradise and on the right wall I have a ugly piece of Pink Bird Nest right now.

I glued a no name acro on my overflow. It was about a 1.5 inch frah now 5 inch colony.

I'll see what I can get up on my next day off. Probably Monday/Tuesday. Nothing special at the moment. All of these are rather small just added them to the walls not that long ago. The green slimmer is doing the best so far, almost encrusted the entire frag and I'm guessing will be on the back wall with in a month or so. The Pink Lemonade is also doing well with encrusting the frag disc. The Birds of Paradise is growing out and up and not too much more has grown on the base. But with it on the left side glass it's not getting the blunt of the light. I think my Pink Birds Nest is dead. Its now getting green/purple coralline growing on it. May frag what I can and reset it on some rock work till it grows again and then try for the glass a second time.

People attach them to the back wall with magnetic cleaners all the time...using the magnetic cleaner makes it easy to pop off to frag. Also, there is a sponsor on here that sells magnetic rocks.

What it comes down to is do you want to have a back wall that is clean free of coraline algae and other types of algae or let it go and not care what grows on it. I say that because if you put acro's on back wall you won't be able to clean around them. You could but it would be hard and if hard you won't likely do it. Most of the nicer tanks I have see almost always has a clean single color background. This will contrast the corals and make them pop. Having algae all over back you will loose them a bit.

Acros...no, but I plan on doing some other frags on the back wall. I'm thinking maybe three types of encrusting montis.

I do, I think it looks great. I have a garf bonsai, red planet, $500 efflo, green slimmer and blue dreams on my back wall. Saves space and adds depth I think.

Best way I found was to find out which way you want to have the frag sit, cut another frag disk or square and glue that piece on at a 90deg angle or whatever way works for how you want to palce it then glue that part to the wall, If that makes any sense lol.

I did same thing with Tonga branch and use it to grow zoas looks great and uses otherwise useless space

I love the idea of this but for me, I grow my coral so they suit and complement the aquascape. I want negative space to better complement my auquascape and depth perception as I imagine and believe with coral growing on the glass will alter the depth perception. But please prove me wrong show me more aquascapes with coral growing on the wall!!! MORE PICS PLEASE!!!!
