Hey guys after doing some research I think my next fish I wanna get is either some sort of Wrasse or some sort of basslet
I have a 75 gallon with
2 Bangaii cardinals
2 premium orangestorm clowns
1 scooter blenny
And a yellow watchmen goby/shrimp combo
Does anyone have any suggestion on different Wrasses or type of Basslet to add next
Maybe even some sort of angelfish?

Add a fairy or flasher wrasse, basslet wise, a gramma basslet or some assessors, pseudochromis basslets tend to be aggressive, with the exception of Fridmani basslet, good luck

Wasn't this being answered in your earlier post from 2:23?

I mean aside from the fact he gave me like two types of Wrasse I figured I’d make a more dedicated/direct post so I have people who know a lot about wrasses come but ‍♂️ My bad I suppose

Not a problem, was just curious. If you go to Live Aquaria & search their Reef Safe wrasse list they have quite a few with info & pics.

Ah thanks
I was at the LFS and fell in love with a coral beauty angel so im definitely gonna look those up as well

This is a great thread for checking out all of the possible wrasses!

I've got Coris Wrasses and Leopard wrasses. Both are great and have a lot of personality. The Yellow Coris is really nice as is the Silver Belly (which I have). The Leopard's look amazing in any tank and definitely become a favorite for visitors. I had 3 Coris wrasses and it was awesome seeing the streams of yellow flash all day long around the tank. I lost one to jumping. But since then the other two have grown and can longer fit through the mesh cover.

Regarding the Leopard Wrasses; I was unable to keep a pair of Leopard's in the same tank. I ended up having to separate them into two tanks. Maybe I should have added 3? I don't know -- just bad personality with one of them. In any case, they've been around with me for a while.

And all these wrasses did great in prophylactic copper quarantines as well -- using Copper Power.

Ah okay are they bad ab nipping at coral? I know it’s a 50/50 on if they usually do or not but just wanted your general expedite with em

For yellow, the Halichoeres chrysus (yellow coris) is a good choice. I have one in a 220g with a mix of other wrasses, mostly other Halichoeres species, and they don't touch any corals.

The coral beauty you mentioned earlier in the thread will be more likely to nip than any of the wrasses. I have a coral beauty and it nips.

I also have a male melanurus, and it is a bully, so you might want to avoid that one!

Ah okay if I potentially wanted to add more Wrasse down the line when I size up which Wrasse would you recommend I start with to avoid aggression early on

The chrysus wrasse you like for yellow would be a good choice. Also a small female leopard would work, although people like to add them in multiples to see if you can get one to change to male. When they do that, the male can become aggressive, so I'd try to start with one small female first if you think there is a potential you would be upgrading and then adding more at some point.

There are also lots of flasher or fairy wrasses that would work as females. They are not as colorful when they are females though.
