Mine has a definite pinkish tint to the stomach, though it is shadowed out in most viewings under bright white lighting or is blocked by the white skin when I use camera flash in the photos. H. leucoxanthus is still one of my favorite wrasses.Have you seen the chlorocephalus? It looks like the inverted rubricephalus.
I would pick up a leucoxanthus quite fast however my iridis wouldn’t be so happy about that. I miss my first specimen, she looked identical to yours but with a pinkish tint to her stomach.
