Its not so much the recipent that is at risk. Under vet law, they need to see the patient in person to prescibe prescription medication. That is the quandry in regards to to this topic The vet can lose their license if investigated. At least this is what I was told and shown by a vet/hobbyist friend of mine.

from those pics I see nothing but supposed specks I have had chalices do this and heal is there any real pics of said critter? sometimes I think these things can cause unwarranted treating of tanks for those that can take these things a tad to much to heart before theres real evidence of a parasite.

Jody, do you mean to say just because someone said it on the internet, I should't take it as word and that I should actually do some researcg outside a hobbyist forum

I saw one of those microscopes that you can hook up to the computer the other day for a fair price. I'm sure I'll end up getting one when the baby gets big enough - I loved looking through a microscope at stuff.

I can't wait for the baby to come, I get to be a kid all over again!!!! :bigsmile:
