Are your other fish doing ok?

Was any one picking on the goby?

Everyone else is fine. Doing water changes just in case.

I did not notice any aggression from any of the other fish

Dang I was just getting ready to respond and say how hardy they are. I have had one for about 6 months and only see him occasionally late at night when he is hungry. It’s almost like I don’t even have one in the tank sometimes because he’s hiding so much. Sorry for your loss buddy. Death was probably due to stress caused from shipping and him jumping into the tank before getting fully acclimated.

Unfortunately it happens. I’ve had more than I care to say show up and die a couple days later for no apparent reason.

You have the shrimp, so definitely get yourself another goby.

Lights just turned on, haven't spotted it. Ive looked around the tank, in the overflow, and in the sump.

My tank is 75 gallons and has been up and running for about a year
