Not to my knowledge but I think we need @4FordFamily to jump back in with an opinionAt the moment, just melafix, pimafix, focus, herbtana, and another one from petco. I'm honestly confused. He will eat anything vegetable based or frozen but he just won't eat the pellets or flakes that are meat based. He doesnt swim towards the power head or anything like that and I'm not seeing anything really on him. It's almost kind of like he is glowing from the shimmer of the light. Hes not really hiding but hes not actively swimming as much. Usually he either tags along with the foxface all day and goes everywhere he does or he hangs out with the sailfin. But hes kind of been a loner. Do they usually randomly change their diets after a year of having him?
No this is not odd. Not to say something is definitely wrong but behavior changes are not good. You may try treating for internal parasites (soak foods in general cure and focus to keep the meds bound to the food) to be safe.At the moment, just melafix, pimafix, focus, herbtana, and another one from petco. Okay thank you all very much for your help. If anything changes I will jump back in for more answers. For now, I will get some general cure and bind to some veggie pellets that I know he will eat. Tangs are primarily herbivorous, but I’d describe them more appropriately as opportunists. Most fish will eat what’s available.![]()
