Hot and dry in summer then cold and dry in winter. Panhandle of Texas north of Amarillo. I’m going to see if I have issues with humidity before going with a dehumidifier. I’ve heard so many people talk about the heat they produce.
I’m in north east Louisiana, so I bet our weather isn’t drastically different. Dehumidifiers definitely produce heat and are electricity hogs... if I could get by without one I would. Summer isn’t so bad but even with all the insulation I have in the building if I don’t run a dehumidifier during the winter I literally have water dripping from the ceiling..
Is the hobby the real reason though. I think I’d rather be 20k in debt than go through a divorce. That is unless she was as bad as my ex wife and in that case I’d be like “bye Felisha”.
