So I saw a lot of good reviews on BRS so I went ahead and placed my first order. I ordered two 48" T5 bulbs but received four 24" bulbs. :(

Have one have a similar experience? Is the company usually good about fixing mistakes? Really bummed my first ordered was messed up. Just waiting to hear back from them...

Just call or send them an email, brs is very good about getting errors handled. I've been using them for a few years now and have no complaints whatsoever :)

Orders shapes rock. Half was broken. They refunded all but $10 and let me keep the rest. For $10 it was usable for me and they didn’t have to waste money shipping it back. After that I use them all the time.

No company is perfect, everyone makes mistakes. Maybe it was packaged first thing in the morning before they had coffee. They seem to have way above average customer support and will make things right.

Ordered a few things from them now and so has my better half (gifts). 9 out of 10 times everything went smoothly. That 10th time though few errors. In these cases either party usually catches it and it is taken care of. Always packaged well, arrived on time, and never anything lost or received different than what we ordered. Our issues have always been placing the order or thinking we have, getting confirmation, then seeing that the order wasn't really received.

Nothing out of the ordinary though and honestly similar to other sized businesses we have ordered from. I continue to buy and support them. Happy customer.

Good company, my go to for online reefing supplies. Had 1 issues with a damaged bag of sand that was torn ooen in shipping and they took care of it. Well 2 if I cou t the DA temp probe I got from BRS that wont hold calibration at all righ out of the packaging, not BRS's fault and since DA closed shop I just called it a loss.
