Fragged a leather today and was out of rubber bands and toouthpicks i realized(my usual choice for attaching. I did remember we had some plastic corn cob holders though(the things you screw into the ends of a cob of corn). They screwed into the leather like a charm and then the handle fit nicely into eggcrate.
