Magnesium at 1400 ppm will not help on algae.

One type of magnesium additive (Kent Tech M) may be effective in bryopsis (and not other algae), probably due to an impurity it had (or used to have)

7.5 dkh with a zeo tank. I had issues when I ran above 8.
