This coral is growing well but losing some color. I liked it more when it was lower in the tank but I’m not sure if I’ll move it back down simply because I’d have to move other corals around (aka, laziness).

This coral was pretty browned out when I first got it so I put it in the corner where it couldn’t be seen as easily. It’s like this coral was like, “I’ll show you!” – The tips are starting to look amazing and I’m kicking myself for not putting it where it can be viewed more easily.

Still working on getting a decent full tank shot. Here’s a shot from the right side of the tank though:

Now that I've got a new camera, expect a lot more pictures.

:) Thanks Leo! I'm really excited about the new camera, as if you couldn't tell!

Really appreciate the compliment, Marvin! I was comparing some of these shots to past shots and there's been some good growth -- I'm surprised. :) Let's hope things keep going in that direction.

Awesome man. Good growth = happy reefer. :)

Looking good Zibba, the colors on your corals look great man.

Thanks Brett, things are coming along. Some corals are certainly better than others but I think that's always going to be the case.

My 30k did the same thing man, unfortunately it just got worse and I lost it. Hopefully yours will do better.

I wonder if it's placement or if it's something else. This is a PROP coral and I'd hate to lose it. Any thoughts on what might have caused it in your tank? I'm guessing "no" because your tank is so healthy.

Slowly learning to take fish pictures and pictures of the ADA with LEDs with the new camera.

That's a killer pic of the meteor shower . Man r u good or what
Hope the 30K pulls through . Mine is a tough sale too . It's slowly coloring up .

Awesome pics, I love the gorg pic!

Yeah, I liked that one too! I'm so surprised I've been able to keep it alive. I had never kept one before and it seems to be doing well. It's in the back of the tank so harder to get a full picture of it. That was cropped / zoomed in pretty good.

Haha, thanks bro. :)

Really hoping the 30k pulls through but it's not looking any better. Grr....

My favs are the gorgs and dendros pics. :)

Ahhh, thanks so much Marvin. I actually meant to post a different denro pic -- essentially a cropped different composition to show more details -- but that one is cool too because all of the polyps are out and it's looking so happy!

No new news with the aquariums -- still trying to get the alkalinity down below 8. Finally got the Apex set up to be controlled outside of my home network. I still need to program that bad-boy to run my tunzes on a ramp up/down cycle.

Mostly I've just been playing with the new camera. Here are some recent shots:
