Zoa and Pali not opening

I had the same algae start to cover 2 zoa frags on the plugs. I dipped with peroxide and it helped for a bit, but it came back. Ultimately I threw out the frags, it is really a pain to deal with and it was strangling out the frags. I would do what you can to remove it. If I start to see it growing on my rocks I’ll probably try an emerald crab.

Thanks HoopDeez

I am waiting for my LFS to get some of those Crabs but maybe only end this month or beginning next month

The big issue is that the algae is already all over the tank not just in one rock

I think my Xénias where the first to call the attention for something wrong, but I had no idea

This is how they spread

Even in the bed sand on little stones

I don’t think it’s your issue, but I would recommend calibrating your refractometer with a 35ppt calibration solution, and not RO.
