I feed LRS to my fish and oyster feast to corals.Do you feed your tank any frozen foods like LRS or Rod's food?
This will help bring the doc's up a little

How often?I feed LRS to my fish and oyster feast to corals.

I feed LRS ever day and oyster feast once a week. How often?
And good choice of foods![]()
A friend gave me his old skimmer that is rated for a 120 gallon tank and I have it on my 29 with a 20 sumpAlso you have some po4 based on glass cleaning intervals.
If you ever wanted to bring your no3 up a little here you go

Now your frozen foods will add a little doc's unless you are skimming heavily.
Maybe I will start feeding oyster feast 2 or 3 times a week. I might also start feeding ROE soon and maybe even phyto feastI would bump up the amount fed a little. From there you might see a rise in the doc's (that will reduce down to your no3 biologically)
I also have other corals and anemones. Will the dirtier water bother them?Zoanthids love the more "dirty" environment
Depends on the coral.I also have other corals and anemones. Will the dirtier water bother them?
My only SPS is montipora and I have a BTA and several rock nemsDepends on the coral.
This is the battle of having mixed tanks.
If you have sps then they might brown out.
Now lps and softies love the higher nutrient waters
The Monti may brown a little but your anemones will love you for lifeMy only SPS is montipora and I have a BTA and several rock nems
ThanksThe Monti may brown a little but your anemones will love you for life
