50% of my zoanthids look stressed. My red and green hornets seems the worst. Water parameters are spot on, and today was my water change day. I have seen my snails and cleaner crew clean them and also I have been turkey basting them at night to clear algae that my tank has been producing. I have moved them around to make room for future arrivals. So my question is should I be worried or will they be ok after a few days? What are they showing signed off? Also a few of them have fallen off rock and landed on there heads due to snails.

You probably stripped your tank of nutrients when you did the h2o change...
Give it a few days, they'll probably bounce back

What type of lighting do you have?

Hydra 26 hd. Tanks is a lagoon 25, rock 3 months fishless cycled, tank 5 months old. Salinity 1.026, alk 9.5 calcium 420, mag 1420, temp 79-80 nitrates 0-10, phosphates 0

Hydra is running at 50% or less on a 9 hour cycle, cool whites below 25%. Everything was fine until I did my water change and siphoned sand. Maybe to clean?

How often do you top off?

Did you move the zo's closer to the light? How high is the light off of the water surface? Did you mix salt to 1.026 and same temp as tank, or did you change salt mix?

Light has not changed, 12 inches off surface, mixed to exact match of temp and salinity with distilled water which I have been using in this tanks since new. I have stirred up the sand and as I stated a bunch of These fell off and landed in there heads in the sand due to the cleanup crew. Now they are on frag rock safe. So quite a few things have happened in the last 24 hours. Other are doing great, sps is doing perfect.

They might just be upset with the debris stirred up or being knocked around I suppose. Monitor for a few days and log how they behave, report back with update.

I would personally lower salinity to 1.024 especially if you do not use an ato. I keep mine at 1.023 and with swings of topping off twice daily on all my tanks it seems to work. Just my thoughts.

One last thing do you dose by hand or use a doser? If so what are the frequencies? And thanks for all the info not that I have all or any answers but would just like to contribute what I have done [emoji1]

Dose what? 2 parts or feeding?

I dose b-ionic 2 part, twice a day, once at night and then morning. Some days the alk gets used up more so than calcium, if I don't dose twice a day alk will go from 9-9.5 to 6-6.5 so it's important that I test and dose daily.

So many things to ask how often do you check parameters and what type of test kits and I'm all out after that. Thanks.
