00W's AIO Smorgasbord

I wouldn’t worry about the fighting since A) everyone is new and now in a temporary tank. Once you put them back in DT after fallow period with rocks slightly arranged different, the clock starts over on them and territory. It also matter what kind of tangs. List the ones you have and the ones you want . Then you can ask a tang person the stocking order or comparability - I think Joel and Frank have that knowledge and can also recommend a person. You want to be very prudent on this, just like I have had to be on my Wrasse/Anthias list and also my tang choices.

Either way, I wouldn’t buy anything right now.

And in the meantime, if you don’t already have, get a good-sized acclimation box. This is the one I have and he’s a neighbor of Tim’s!

Not my neighbor but close, closer to @1ocean I believe. East sider if I recall.

I forgot that by not doing weekly water changes things like this may happen.

Did end up with a burger for dinner.
But I ate a half bag of jalapeño chips for lunch and pretended it was a taco.
I had a meatball, marinara, and pepperoni sub for lunch.

My daughter is cooking a Calzone for dinner... not sure what she put in it but she put fresh garlic cloves on top so they'll roast. Very culinarily artistic.

Doing my high school math and referring to my notes this means the cheato and ulva are doing there thing much better than the scrubber ever did.
One of the reasons for no water change today, just wanted to leave some nutrients for the fuge.
Like I said I don't know what I'm doing through any personal experience just studying for awhile.
All red algae has disappeared from either tank. I love running slow small experiments.
Most of you know all this stuff already so I won't carry on any but making the fuge was new, different and fun, like planting flowers on the patio and maybe someone will find this useful one day. ;)

Trates are at a good level (in my opinion), alk is definitely a little low (again in my opinion).

Agreed on both points Tim!
I forgot about alk since it rarely changes just glad I thought to check
Added my favorite buffer and I'll try to bring it up slowly.
What do you keep your tank at if you don't mind me asking?

Well, anywhere between 10 and 100 nitrates, sometimes more, phosphates at 0.14, alk between 8.3 and 8.6, magnesium usually sits low at 1260 (need to bring it up), and calcium is high at 480-500 usually. I don't test anything else except pH on occasion. That's usually around 8.1-8.3.

Have not had a calzone in 112 years.
Jelly once again dangit :face-with-tongue:
