I would not advise at different times..scopus are difficult. But I did do a trick where I moved everyone from the 140 to the 300. Moved the purple, 2 yellows, tomini and added blonde naso and blue hippo to the mix in the small holding tank while I tore the 140 down. They got along fine in the small holding tank and now are fine in the 300.

So the Copper band Butterfly has become a accepted part of the family...She has been eating good and left alone ...picking on the rocks...the two yellow tang-itches have accepted her as well and eat alone side her....

They all looked good this morning. I am a bit worried as I haven't seen the tang eat since the first day and then it was just a few times that he pecked on the rocks. I tried putting garlic on a little bit of nori but he still ignored it.

I know nothing about this so please continue to detail. Are u saying that test is from the fuge area and it’s pulling that much nitrate?Doing my high school math and referring to my notes this means the cheato and ulva are doing there thing much better than the scrubber ever did.
One of the reasons for no water change today, just wanted to leave some nutrients for the fuge.
Like I said I don't know what I'm doing through any personal experience just studying for awhile.
All red algae has disappeared from either tank. I love running slow small experiments.
Most of you know all this stuff already so I won't carry on any but making the fuge was new, different and fun, like planting flowers on the patio and maybe someone will find this useful one day.
