I’m just happy to cancel this off my list! This has been a 3 month process trying to decide on a sump. This is an in-wall, permanent build so I figured, do it right because I won’t be doing this again anytime soon!

Now I can focus on what lights I want and my mixing station!

LOL, yea. There are a lot of decisions. Rick's sumps are really nice, so you chose good there.

You can put an O ring around a 1” bulkhead to keep it centered in the larger hole. As noted, it doesn’t need to be water tight.
