I guess this is why they say - its hard to judge meaning with text as compared to spoken word. Right? I only quoted what I read.

My Gosh- Its Friday- Happy Day.
People have been posting these codes as a courtesy rather than letting it go to waste. $10 is $10 and helpful to many in this economy
No need to have a 6th grade battle over gum.
Putting jokes to the side- this is a civilized site based on respect and enjoyment. Lets be adults and show that. Hopefully we can move on and enjoy some forums for the remainder of the day.
Seriously- I'll take a code if someone wants to give one away.

BRS would have to be extremely naïve to not realize that codes will be shared (whether or not they endorse this), so the fact that they continue with this promotional method indicates that they consider the sharing more profitable than no promotion.

...but I still don't understand why the insults come up so fast.

I also don't put much stock in public text images, because they are easily manipulated:

All I mean with this is that an online image of text is easy enough for even an idiot (I mean, I did this, and in about 1 minute in MS Paint) to alter the wording and entirely change the meaning.
I don't hold that as substantiating evidence... but that is just my opinion.

It was I who said "stick it to big bad BRS" and it was 100% sarcasm because of all the hate BRS has been getting.

To MnFish, I can tell you with 100% certainty BRS does not care if we share or give codes to others. How do I know this? I routinely approve posts on the AskBRS Facebook group with the codes in them :)

This is some funny stuff! Obviously you can get as many promo codes you like and give them to whomever you like, you get these codes by making a purchase on BRS website, they give them out to every order(while supplies last) I have a few of these also if anyone needs a code I may give one or two out. Lol

Actually - I'm ok with it. If you read the actual thread - it was more about the abbreviation in the OP - but - whatever. But - apparently BRS lack of knowledge of their own promo is also odd - because when I chatted with them they said 'no our intent was not to have codes posted 'online'. So - I guess there's that - but this is a tempest in a teapot - and I've said it once - I'll say it again - either way - it ends up as a sale for them. So - 'who cares'.

You are correct it ends up with a sale! Actually 2 sales. They are only giving away 300k in promo codes it’s not like everyone can use the code, just one time use. The person that has the code had to make a purchase to get the code, who ever uses the code wether it’s you or a stranger will result in the 2nd sale for brs. And they can’t lose any thing other then what they planned for (300k giveaway) … you giving the code away actually is helping them market the company as now it entices someone that hasn’t pulled the trigger on the website to do so… etc either way I thought it was funny thread to read.

Judt wondering, has anyone been lucky enough to get the $100 or $300 reward? I've used like 10 of them and only got the $10 reward
 
When you use a 10$ coupon the company makes money off you, they don’t lose money, it’s a classic gimmick.

take kohls, every time I go there I save 200$!!! Omg that’s amazing! And the customer keeps coming back thinking they are getting deals. You are not. The company wins.

That’s why they say some are worth 500$ or whatever. People keep buying and they give out 10$ and they come back. It’s so very obvious.
