10 gallon ideas

How long? Just curious. I know they are supposed to be incredibly difficult.
Do you have to target feed or does he eat along with the others?
Not sure what you mean by how long. Maybe how long I’ve him? If so I’ve had him for three-four months, so not very long. He doesn’t eat frozen only pods. Once in a while I’ll try arctic pods and just squirt them near him but he doesn’t seem to have much interest in them.

My first reef tank was a simple ten gallon. I focused on keeping miniature animals. I only kept one fish due to size and aggression but there are all kind of cool inverts you can add.

Yep that’s what I meant! Interesting! I hope it works out long term!

what hard to feed fish have you had sucess with long term?
I should add that long term would mean at least a year imo.
Just so that we don’t get the common “my 1 month old tank is working perfectly despite everything online saying it shouldn’t” bit…

ive had my eel for 81/2 months because ive only had 1 tank for over a year. also what can i use to cover my tank stand;s screw
Ok I’m pretty sure you have not had that tank for a year bc I remember you taking about doing it when I already had mine up and mine hasn’t even been a year yet.

filefish, a tiny neovespicula depressifrons, spiny eel
filefish for how many months...
Freshwater Waspfish: "Easily weaned onto frozen and prepared foods."
spiny eel just no.

your experiences with these 3 have 0 indications or relevance to your blanket statement that all fish are easy. Even expert aquarists at the largest public aquariums have difficulty feeding certain fish

Neovespicula is best in brackish and is rather easy to get eating from what I’ve read.
Files aren’t hard to get eating either.
Spiny eels are very easy as long as you provide some type of meaty food…
Seahorses, pipefish, and their relatives are among the hardest fish to keep of all time, so there really isn’t much to compare them too.

He meant his freshwater tanks I think

they are brackish anda marine. most eel enthusiasts have trouble feeding macromastemblus circumstincus, they eat only live worms b/c they are all wild caught. they are small mouthed also
