My man you can’t even keep gsp alive…probably not the time to be planning a very difficult coldwater tank with hard to find fish.theres one japanese fish i forgot the name of i like, fluffy sculpin, clinids, kamohara blenny, hulafish, white bar boxfish and so many other cold water things. and i found a 80$ fridge for a cooler, a basic minifridge with lots of hose thru it will work right

Aiptasia scrubbers use to be a thing! It might make its way back... Aptasia pre sock prefilter, to grab food and prolong filter sock life....I’ve always thought a pest tank would be cool in a small aquarium. Just letting the aiptasia grow (also food for your filefish), some gorilla crabs, and a bunch of stuff that are neat, but otherwise annoying in a normal reef.
i have kept gsp alivae. it didnt die and its rebounding now lol^

I have a half banded spiny eel in my freshwater tank, and he eats frozen shrimp aggressively from my hand!my 40 gallon has a freshwater spiny eel and they are supposedly hard to feed
mine too but ive heard from eel keepers they are hardI have a half banded spiny eel in my freshwater tank, and he eats frozen shrimp aggressively from my hand!
The reason they are considered “hard” is because so many people just but one thinking it’s cool and just try feeding it flakes, only to watch it starve to death.mine too but ive heard from eel keepers they are hard
no these people like only keep spiny eels and they say its one of the hardest to keep. it took me like 3 months to train mine to eat flake. and they only eat live worms at the start. The reason they are considered “hard” is because so many people just but one thinking it’s cool and just try feeding it flakes, only to watch it starve to death.
As long as one does even a bit of research, they will find that they require meaty foods. And hand feeding is a good sign that they are very easy to feed. Kinda simple, not as easy as a tetra, but not even close to difficult to feed if you know how.
well i mean if i only kept guppies they would be the hardest to keepno these people like only keep spiny eels and they say its one of the hardest to keep. it took me like 3 months to train mine to eat flake. and they only eat live worms at the start.
Flakes cannot be a staple. It will starve on that (they need high protein diets).no these people like only keep spiny eels and they say its one of the hardest to keep. it took me like 3 months to train mine to eat flake. and they only eat live worms at the start.
