I have an RBTA in my brother in laws tank. It started out as 1 and has split 5 times so is 6 now. Here's 3 of them.
I know some puffs can nip them but mine never have.
OMG Thats just a things of beauty!

I have heard that BTA are less likely to keep their bubble tips with lots of current....that you get the long tentacles when they are being blown around more then ideally.
Try changing you water patterns up a bit, my BTA as much smaller then your friends but seem to like a lower flow area to bubble in.
Is it just me or does the ideal RBTA look like a **** of many tiny boobs... likely to get edited for that but that thought keeps popping up in my head..and I'm an straight female lol.

I have not had an issue with my Hydra 26 hd's I keep the house at 76 and the tank a 78.3

Smells like fish...
I've been busy with the house the last week so not much time for the build but I did get to order a pallet of rock!
In the end I went with Marco Rock. I've never used it but heard good things and I like the look of it and after speaking with Marc and getting the help and time he gave I had no doubts!
So now it's just to wait until it is shipped over and then the fun begins with the aquascape!
