Lol this is my newest anemone. I saw it and they said 100$ i was like gimme now lol. It's prolly about 7-9 inches in diameter! RBTA!

I like nems myself I got rid of all sps so I could get one and waited for the tank to turn 1 year. Defo have a great fish choice without corals. Looking forward to seeing your scape
I have a dogface that's eaten 2 nems AND a carpet nem abt 2" in diameter. [emoji33]

I have an RBTA in my brother in laws tank. It started out as 1 and has split 5 times so is 6 now. Here's 3 of them.

I know some puffs can nip them but mine never have.

Even a carpet nem!!
I'd love a blue & red carpet but they are so sticky and aggressive it's never easy watching nice fish go too close!

The thing I can't figure out is why mine won't bubble tip as often! The tentacles are always long and stretched out lol same on my ultra rainbow bta

I've heard loads of theories why.
Light, flow etc but that nem sometimes isn't bubbles either and its in the same place with same conditions.

Great looking tank and house! Definitely following this one... and looks like I have to plan a stop in Evje next time I'm passing by ;):)

I seen a video on youtube before of a fella keeping nems for years. He maintained that this can happen due to stress or just naturally will no ill effect. He also said splitting is not hugely common and generally because of stress or even electrical current in the water.

Where are you from. Give me a shout if you are in Evje

Well I fed all my nems yesterday but I fed much smaller pieces and that seemed to help them, they got much bigger and they almost started to bubble! Maybe with a more consistent and routine feeding schedule they will be more glorious lol

I've heard it due to stress I've heard it's because they are happy. I've heard it's asexual and normal like they do in the wild. I've heard it's when they feel threatened and want to improve the chances of their gene pool surviving.

All I know is I have 6 beautiful nems now!

Hahaha im on my way! I have 6 but one ultra rainbow grew a second head on one foot and didn't split been that way for about 4 months lol

I live in Klepp :) I have a cabin in Tokke, so in winter time I often drive through Evje when the road across Suleskard is closed.

Will do, would love to see this beauty in real life :)
(And if you need me to bring anything with me, just let me know, i live close to Fisk & Koraller :))

I've been looking at more inspiration for the aquascaping as I've just ordered a load of dry rock so hopefully soon I can start building and playing with it!

I also like caves and swim throughs.

Who's doesn't like this. I have to do some kind of overhang.

I really like how this shows the depth. I think this is harder to do than I imagine.

Again I love the overhang and shape of this structure.

Here's a couple more!

Man I'm just trying to get my Tanks running right lol!!

Just added a chiller to my Tank because I'm afraid my already 80 degree tank will only get hotter when I add a Hydra 52 on top of my two Hydra 26s lol!

Do you get much heat from the Hydras?
I use a seneye to send me a text message if heating or anything is getting out if hand

Well personally I don't think it is the Hydras I believe it is caused my my lid or cover, it's only gives about a 6-8 inch distance from the water so I personally believe that's what's causing my issus. But I'm at the point where a new lid and the water chiller are the same price and the water chiller can serve a bigger purpose for me currently!

The reason I believe it is that is because I have a huge fan cooling in my lid and it the temperature still is around 80
