That would be fantastic! Thanks so much. let me know when it's convenient for you when you get a chance.

FTS update, I have two 48" rb xho blues coming for this light. I will be looking into replacing the blue plus bulbs with some coral plus or something similar. I'm not going full blue I just want more coverage for shadows near the front and back glass, I will be adding my ap9x to the array soon too, and probably lowering overall intensity. I'll be at about 100lbs of lights hanging from the cieling joist :)

Beautiful and stunning!

I can’t get over how good your tank looks! It’s like…
Star Struck Wow GIF by Funimation

You have one of my favorite tanks on this site for sure! What is your nitrate range if I may ask?
Well thank you that makes me fell good :) !

Right now the nitrates are coming down from being slightly elevated, at the beginning of this tank nutrients were super low and I was adding to keep in line with brightwells recommendations in neophos and neonitro.

A few months ago I decided to increase nitrates and phosphates, due to noticing what appeared to be thin skin on some acros, so I figured increasing nutrients a little couldn't hurt, so I started dosing benapets reef food and stopped neonitro and Neophos. With this the nitrates were easily brought up and phosphates stayed low and still require occasional phosphate dosing, to maintain an above 0 level. Also I haven't been doing waterchanges since starting the reef moonshiners.

So currently I have been carbon dosing a few times a week, trying to lower nitrates to around 10, I would like to be around 5-10 closer to 10, with phosphates around .02

Thanks for checking out the build, and for the nice words!

What carbon are you dosing? Reef Spec?

Just getting those points for the birdsnest :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes: :squinting-face-with-tongue: Kidding lol. You do have one of my favorites. Your acros look amazing btw don’t think I’ve mentioned that. Ik they are frags but if the frags look that good I would love to see colonies.

I'm using tropic marins carbon products depending on nutrient level, so elimiNP lately but I also use bacto balance, on no set schedule.

No problem I will definitely hook you up with the BN I might even have some other stuff you can have if you want. Whenever you're ready.

Thanks! Currently undergoing a massive tank cleaning/re-do-ish that is almost done so now next week if my phosphates stay down I’ma add my first corals :D

I've got the xho blues hung and I'm testing them out, they do add allot of light and fluorescence to the coral. They really add some pop and provide a little more light on the edges.

I will be messing with the schedule on these but I'm thinking it's going to be like 6hrs, something like 3hrs at the beginning and end of the photoperiod.

Here's a rough mock up of what the light will be like. With just 3 kessils on very low and the xho blues, early morning .
