Just be sure you are dosing regularly and testing regularly. You want to get the levels up to therapeutic within 24 hours when dealing with velvet (be sure to correct me if I'm mixing this thread up with another). You have some beautiful fish in there. I really hope things work out for you and them.

Hopefully they will. My purple tang was worse than this and developed bacterial infections along with velvet and now its happy and healthy, although still in quarantine.

You won't see immediate improvement, I would say you need like 3-4 days until you start noticing any results.
Since they started to get heavily infested with velvet, I would suggest doing FW or Formalin/Acriflavine bath to provide some relief for the fish.

Freshwater dips, acriflavine baths and formalin baths will provide temporary relief; but in this situation only copper at therapeutic strength will halt the dinospores from continually reinfecting your fish.

I have the api copper test I have does 60ml into the tank but it said I have no copper in it so I wonder

What copper are you using? If you are using cupramine then API won't help, you will need sulifert or seachem test kit.

It will work with the cupramine. Just keep testing and adding like 5 mil every other day to keep it where you need it to be. Your fish are still eating so I think you will be fine. Don't forget to add kanaplex just in case
