Yes. Correct, I’m impressed you remembered, and honored that I’ve been singled out lol. My general tank lights are reffledlight.com sirius model led light. Par output is twice ecotechs radians. I’m also using Home Depot 5k 120 watt equivalent led spots with simple clamp on sockets. Since, menards has 250 watt equivalent led daylight bulbs I’ve been changing them out, at $20 a bulb. Lighting is bright. Filtration is “KISS” simple skimmer and that’s it. I use a filter sock once in a while, initially to pull out floaters, but once it’s humming along, skimmer only no sock.My memory on the lights was ? par 38 5k spots from HD ??
Were these just hanging around the tank, or did you remove them from the gigs?I found several of these when I destroyed the 125. I know it doesn’t mean much, I don’t have time or means to raise them. I know, doesn’t mean much to many... I’m spinning too many plates lol.
There were several I found. They all were attached on the tips of the big ones and I sucked them off. I have aptasia in the tank and they too get stuck on the tents, but they look different. Vastly different. I don’t have the means to raise them in a nursery tank. That’s what they need, a whole other level of care. Environment is everything. Last year I also realized I have ball anemones in here. Ball anemones are closer to them at a small size but still different. Ball nems and aptasia are robust, tiny gigs are not. Were these just hanging around the tank, or did you remove them from the gigs?
I would love to try my hand at raising them if I had the opportunity to get my hands on some of them! I imagine that they probably wouldn’t survive shipment thoughThere were several I found.
