Yes. Exactly. They seem to grow coral well also. I only have purple hairy shrooms and gold crown toadstool, both super easy beginner, but this bulb does great with everything I have. Including gigs.would that be these ? Sylvania® 250W Equivalent PAR38 Dimmable LED Light Bulb at Menards®
Wow, those are baby giganteas, right? I just saw this thread! It's very exciting, and would love more details! You said you found them on the tips of the adults? Do you have any idea why they're not colored? (Or is that typical?) How big are they? A shame that you can't raise them. Hopefully you will find some more when the new setup gets more established.I found several of these when I destroyed the 125. I know it doesn’t mean much, I don’t have time or means to raise them. I know, doesn’t mean much to many... I’m spinning too many plates lol.
They’re likely not colored because they haven’t taken up any zooxanthellae yet. We see this in Acropora too, the early polyps are transparent before they uptake zooxanthellae from the water.Wow, those are baby giganteas, right? I just saw this thread! Lol, hence the Taylor name lol.I remember reading from NemGuy that he was trying to breeding gigantea as well and feeding phytoplankton. Maybe someday you can try when your schedule frees up. Hard to do that while running a business though.
I remember your a guitar gear head like me.
