Lol, oh no.. I have some fish and corals I collected when I was probably 15 that are still with me, they are my babies. I have to stay for them haha.
Well, it's been a fun and adventurous last 3 1/2 years with this nano tank. I've acquired more reefing knowledge from this little tank then any other. Experimenting with different lighting, flow and various reefing techniques has been awesome.
Since the tank crashed I was battling nutrient issues. Also, I think there may have been something deep down in the rock work that was causing issues from my cup spill.. Came home from a trip to find the tank doing awful again. So, I decided it was enough for now and have moved all the corals into a spare system that I kept my breeding pair of Spotcinctus clowns and some other LPS corals in. I was skeptical at first but corals are looking great, and PE is better than its been the last few months in the Biocube.
Will get a new thread of the corals going again in a few months when everything is settled and colors return. They have A LOT more space now so they can grow big!

Yeah I got real lucky. It was always the plan to move into this tank eventually when everything out grew the nano. I just wasn't sure if it was SPS ready yet.

Was reminiscing the old cube and came across some cool pics of it in its glory days. Seriatopora really gave it that cool bonsai effect I was pulling for.
Thank you, unfortunately this tank is no longer running thanks to my (laziness/clumsiness). I was using Kalk alone as my main stabilizer. I did eventually have to start dosing some liquid calcium to keep up with demands.
