Thanks and me as well! Mine are about 3 and 5 imches I think, I havent really done a good measurement on them, so I cant really tell for sure, one is considerably bigger than the other though.

Hi, I really like your tank - do you know any suppliers in Europe - I am based on Cote D'Azur France? Also any updates on your sea horses because I am looking to also have mainly sea horses. Thanks,

p.s. they are beautiful - will you be breeding them?

Thanks! I am not aware of any suppliers over there, BUT I know I can find some, I know there are breeders in that area, I will just have to find the names of them!

I dont want to say my seahorses are doing great, cause I dont want to to ruin my luck with them so far, but at this point, all is well, lol...

And YES! I will be breeding them as soon as I get a male, I dont plan on making it a huge thing, but just to help me fund some new camera gear.

i25 post up here http://forum.seahorse.org/. There are quiet a few people from Europe there and I am sure they have some sources.

Reidi breeding looks to daunting to me. I tried to raise a couple rounds of Erectus babies but was only able to get them to 17 days. Work always got in the way and I could never dedicate enough time. I can't image trying pelagic fry.

Im up for a challange, even though I may epicly fail, Im still up to try it! lol

lol, a challenge it will be! If I didn't live in an apartment I would probably give it a try to haha. Dan from seahorse source has his breeding setups posted at seahorse.org. I'm trying to culture copepods right now, you know just it case I ever get to urge to get a male.

I have talked to them a few times, and they recommend I check out seahorse.org, and Ive got on there, but its a confusing site to me, I dont like it at all, lol, the information is great, but A LOT of it is out dated...

I really am on the look out for a male, perferably a brizilian red one...

Tank is still going strong! Things are looking really good so far!

I am having some algae build up but snails r taking care of it, plus, low flow, I expected it to occur. Other than that, things are looking really good! I plan on adding some corals to the tank this monday and then HOPEFULLY if its sexed correctly, a new Brzilian red male to go with my orange and yellow's right now!

Good to hear! Can't wait to see a pic of the red male. I really need to get my DT finished. Tired of daily water changes in the QT.

Im hoping its a male, they said they were unsure of it, they sent me a cell picture, of cource, it sucked, so I couldnt tell, lol, Im hoping it is!

And Yeah! I do daily changes on my DT though, hahaha, I dont have a huge filter on there, so I like to be safe.

Crossing my fingers for you. Hopefully he is old enough to get a good ID.

I don't mind the water changes as much as making new water everyday. I guess it would be a lot easier if I made bigger batches of water.
I'm going to run a big skimmer so hopefully weekly water changes will be enough. I just got my tank filled with water today, rocks and sand should be in tomorrow. Now that it's almost done I was thinking about turning it into a dogface puffer tank instead, what do you think? haha

Have you had a chance to take a FTS lately?

The bog face gives it a very nice touch, I like the look of it and how it just sits there, feeding should'nt be hard considering that they can easily eat the left overs that we humans dont eat! Good idea!

Yeah! I hope its male to, I really want one! lol, I need to be running a skimmer, but I dont, lol

The red horse wasn't what I was looking for in the end, is was orange, like the current one I have, so I didnt buy it...

Boo, sorry to hear. Hopefully they will get one for you soon! My orange horse has turned almost completely yellow. How are the colors on yours holding up? Any recent tank shots?

The color on them changes, some days its yellow, others its a nice orange, the food and mood of the horses seems to effect them greatly.

I havent taken any FTS's cause not much has changed honestly, I didnt find any corals I liked on Monday, so I didnt buy anything. I think Im just going to wait and go in on a group buy or somthing and buy some sweet polyps, I dont want "crap" in this tank, Ive said that with previous tanks, and some how, it seems to find its way in, so I refuse to by anything I know I wont make money back on (not that I intend on selling, but if I know I can make money back on it, it will more than likily be nice, You cant make money back on star polyps).

I will take a FTS tonight even though its not that special right now, lol.

What is your feeding regimen? Right now mine are only big enough to eat Hikari mysis. I plan to change up brands as they get bigger.

I hear you on adding crap. It does always seem to creep in hahaha. I'm going a little different on my DT, trying some different macro's. I could make my money back on clippings but that doesn't count since they are all less than $5 lol. I still plan adding some nice polyps. I'm going to add some purple death, rainbow and gobstopper frags from my reef tank to start out with.

FTS might not be special but I would like to see the horses in swimmin.

I feed daily, enriched brine, then mysis, they seem to like that, I alternate between the two.

I'm sick as a dog today, I'll work on fts later...

URGENT!

One of my seahorses swalloed a bug today, the intenas are hanging out of the mouth and its now laying on its side breathing hevay, what do I do!?!?!? Im afraid to pull them out! HELP!

Ohhh no! Hopefully she will just spit it out by herself. I've never heard of this happening and could find no information. Is it past her trigger? If not I might try to pull it out.Call Dan in the morning, I'm sure he'll have a better idea what do to!
