300 gallon peninsula

Was curious what you are running your radions at. Love the look of the color of the corals, maybe the pvc hanger had something to do with it ?
12 hours a day with one hour ramp up to 100% and one hour ramp down back to 0. So 10 hours of every channel at 100%
Curious on your light schedule. What is the setting? 20K and what intensity are you running?

Very nice tank. I like the look of your doors a lot. how are you attaching them? I am working on setting up a 300 myself at the moment. Why is it that no manufacturer can build a trully sealed magnete? I have bad one from 6 different companies, very frustrating!
I used pop magnet clips.

The sohal is for most part but they both can do some damage. Lately they have kinda packed up like a team to drive the other 4 tangs nuts.

No. A few months back the tank started to die. I found a magnet leeching in the tank. Fish started getting sick and corals rtn'ed. The clown was the only tang that didn't make it [emoji24]. I did break down this tank and started over from scratch.

Well had a bit of a leaking magnet so had to cut a few corals back

How did you determine it was a leaking magnet? And how did you find it? My tank is 100g smaller and I must have 20 or 30 magnets in it I would guess.

I personally found the cleaning magnet I left in that tank had corroded and was releasing toxins into the tank. I got rid of it and within a couple weeks things started to improve. Things are still going well, but I tore down the tank to move and set everything up in a large plastic tub. So if those magnets you have in the tank are cleaning magnets, I'd get them out.

Just to clarify, I was using a cleaning magnet as a support for a frag rack. That is why it was always in the tank.

The tank kept looking worse and worse over a few months. I keep checking everything in parameters and everything was perfect. But still sps was stn'ing. The tissue wasn't pealing fast tho. It's was slowly reseeding. I had been thinking it was a magnet for a while but I had checked them for defects or swelling and they all looked fine. One day I got a bug up my but and started opening them up. Sure enough I found a pump mounting magnet that had a tiny leak but there was a lot of rusty water in the casing. I took it out but things really never started to recover. So I just decided to start over.
