Simplicity skimmer?

It's similar to a Simplicity Skimmer at first glance, but it's not. You can tell by the gear shape around the mid section or the box shape at the base.

It IS a Simplicity dosing container though. They just came out with a new 5L size of those.

I wouldn't even know what to do with 5 ltr I only use 1 for alk the other I just added liquid carbon to dose. I dose calcium by eye when it gets low

I use the ATI Essentials Pro 2 part. Anything else that i need is usually just a like, one off correction like you do with the calcium. but the Essentials pro has it all covered more or less.

I'm doing moonshine method so I don't really do water changes and that'll be a million dosers for everything

Added another 3 fish in the last week. A chocolate tang, and yesterday a orange shoulder and tomini tang

Nitrates at 50ppm trying this out as they say I don't need phosphates to bring nitrates down.

Sps growing and color still there has to crank up lights to 100% for a few hours because the higher nitrates

Tank was broken down completely. I’m doing this tank again without all the bells and whistles. No computer just fish and maybe corals. I’ll let the tank settle. I think I added too many fish way too fast and ammonia spiked. It ran for some time coral were doing better but fish were breathing fast and about to die.
