From what I can see in the pics it still isnt definite that you have AEFW. It might just be red planaria. Red planaria can be easily treated with flatworm exit.

But if it is AEFW---The fact that you only have 6 acros, you could totally get away with dipping them in your tank as long as none of them are encrusted on your rocks. I would not take the chance of QTing them without proper lighting and filtration. Just use the bayer dip and rinse well.

use 5-6ml per cup of saltwater and keep the water moving. Dip for 10 min. Wait 7 days between dips. Inspect for eggs everytime. And rinse well. you will lose some pods and any inverts you have most likely.

It's aefw unless red planaria bites acros, there were about 35-40 flatworms on the purple acro. And there were alooot of.bitemarks. I used Bayer and used 5ml per 2 cups tank water. Hope it gets all sorted out I planned on buying acros from the swap even if they have to go into the qt tank. I have a hob on it and it will have the mh light that is on my 40 now. I also noticed that all my pods are mia. Snails and hermits look fine atm.

If you have a QT, then they should always go into the QT. I would use 10ml for 2 cups of water.

I use 5ml/2 cups and works the same. Im the one who told him to use that ammount. But u can use either it works either way. I used to use 5ml/cup also

I dont see why you would want to use a less potent dose if it doesnt hurt the coral or cause color loss. Ive seen folks say they used 15ml per cup and didnt hurt the coral as well.

Updates soon Otw home with a cooler full of stuff I finall found my purple firefish!!

Ok so ithink my problem was that i had the carbon on my dain and it was pulverizing it into dust... Noob mistake I know :frusty:

But its all fixed did a 15 gallon waterchange took 10 of them gallons and started my qt tank, need to find a pump for the reactor. some eggcrate, and a light for the sump
