40 gallon rimless lagoon with waterfall

Worked on wire management, installed a DIY white LED light bar on the inside of the stand as well as a DJ switch. Then I started to work on the rock work, waterfall, and sand.

after many late nights, this is the rock structure and waterfall style I came up with.

I also used silicone to create a table top rock off from the main display as well as a nice little branching tonga tree for some SPS.

Here is some pics of the finished product.

I also added a rounded out little cover area for a zoa garden.

As for the waterfall feature, it is Loc-Line with a ball valve at the joint to control the flow. Sorry the pics are kind of bad, all taken by phone.

Last picture is both the tanks.

And now, we are almost all caught up to where I am now! Last night I added the sand in and got it how I wanted it. I am adding water as we speak. Here is a few pics after the sand was added.

Sorry I did this in reverse order, but now I am caught up so as it makes progression, I will be updating on here.

All done being filled!!! Everything is working great!

I am going to add a few more rocks to the waterfall to heighten it. Now to wait until the water clears up!

Thank you! Follow along, ill be dosing ammonia and Stability to get this cycle running quick. I already have s few corals fragged in my other tank. Still on the wall about a fish line-up, open to suggestions! Mind you, I will have no top, and all mixed coral. Let's hear what you are thinking?

I have a breeder in mind that just created a new clownfish breed called Sunset Mochas. Beautiful fish, so I may go with a pair of those. Also like the Yasha Goby, but I don't have my mind set on anything as of yet.

Stand is great quality!!! I was amazed when dropped it off at the house! My wife really liked that tile (and in this hobby it's important to keep your wife happy!). He incorporated that tile perfectly! A lot of good access points as well.

Moved the rocks a few more times where I could get 2 nice little tidal pools off the waterfall. Just need one more rock to cover the loc-line on the far left. Used Stability to begin the cycle with traces of frozen fish food and very small doses of 100% ammonia. I also used a little water clarification from Fritz. All the dust settles and I think it turned out really well!
