So my LFS said 7 yellow tangs for 1500 I think I cried I want at least 5 I could settle for 3 but I really want to try and cross yellows with scopas to get the off chance of a hybrid.
What about scopas and purples?

I know it’s a lofty goal but if you could pic a species of Tang what would be a favorite? Powder blues? Powder browns? Bristletooth tang harem tank what is your favorite?

I have a purple... mean little thing. Little bigger than the size of a half dollar. Runs the tank. I like the tomni tangs. But I think in a big tank a variety of shapes and colors. 1 yellow 1 purple 1 kole or tomni 1 powder brown 1 naso? Love those types :)

I’m trying to focus and try and get one species of fish. I’ll have corals to mix up the colors

Gotcha, if I had to pick 1 type and have a few probably would be... tomni... I love how they look as adults... those bright orange fins... :)

Well, I only have a 131 gallon DT. So I limited myself to a Yellow Eye Kole Tang & Yellow Tang before the Hawaii ban lol.

If I were in your shoes with that monster tank, the list would look something like this. Tons of color variety this way.
*Blonde Naso Tang*
*Achilles Tang*
*Desjardini Salfin Tang*
*Purple Tang*
*Yellow Tang*
*Blue Tang*

Purples would be nice but I feel they are really aggressive. Idk how that would play out in a group setting but might work and might end in disaster haha if everyone is on the same level then it should be peace. Keep em fat and happy and they can’t say it over food.
