Things seem like they are going well. I tested ammonia the other night it was at like .5 and nitrites were 0 so I redosed and I'll test again tomorrow night.

I have been doing some testing, I haven't register any nitrites yet and my ammonia doesn't seem to leave .5, even after dosing the ammonia my Dr Tims came with. I think it might be my api test kit or I got a bad bottle of dr Tims. I gonna let it ride for another day or so and if I haven't registered anything, I'm gonna just throw a raw shrimp in there

I hear api isn't so great. But raw shrimp will work. Hope it all turns out well for you man. Can't wait to see it finally come to life. I put together a one gallon for these zoanthids I ordered. Super saiyan zoas, I like them a lot.

Well my tank just made me a liar lol I tested again and my ammonia was 0 and I had .25 nitrite. I redosed my ammonia so I guess I have some movement lol tank looks good, decide on anything for an upgrade yet?

Nah haha, went to a downgrade with two less gallons. I'll probably be getting a bigger one soon. What's your stock list? Any ideas yet

Firefish, green clown goby, and I'm still deciding on the last fish. Having a hard time deciding lol and I'm still debating on which firefish. The red and white one, purple, exquisite, or a helfrichi.

I think the purples are really cool. Have you considered a flame angel or a coral beauty angel?

Yeah I have. I heard flame angels can be a bit nippy with corals and haven't really thought about a coral beauty. I don't wanna go too big of a bioload since I have minimal rocks and not quite sure of my skimmer yet.

Not really. I'm out of town right now. So won't really know anything until I get back home. I will post an update when I get home and do some testing. Before I left my nitrites were on the rise at 2ppm.

Yeah got back last night. Was getting ready to update when you posted lol. I tested my water this morning and had zero ammonia and nitrites. Didn't get a chance to do nitrates yet. My girlfriend dosed ammonia to the tank on friday so I'm hopeful my tank is processing it all fairly quickly. I dosed again this morning and will test all 3 tomorrow morning. I haven't seen any diatoms yet. Will post with my results tomorrow
