Thanks! im trying to keep everything as clean as possible.. i still got to get LEDs and a controller(eventually) but its coming together alot better then i thought it would be! and yea mike gave me the clear screening that is from BRS and i bought the fram stuff from lowes. cost like 10 bucks to make. well worth the money since my last aquarium i had diamond goby jump :/

Ammonia should go up a bit higher, then you will see a nitrite spike, then nitrate.

Great job on the screens. You are way ahead of the game with all that good equipment. It took me over a year to have a decent skimmer, reactor and mp40's. Need to find a good 48" fixture now, and you will be good to go.

Thanks man! i have just taken it slow "step by step" to get to where its at now. It always helps when your friends in MTRC hook you up with good stuff too!! for the lights im probably gonna go for some DIY LEDs and later on i might add a few t5s.

Made a small fish list last night. What do yall think?

Yellow tang, two clowns, three chromis, Anthias, diamond goby, and cleaner shrimp

CUC- astrea snails, hermits, maybe emerald crab.

for Corals im not sure exactly what im wanting yet but probably a little bit of everything

If you're not gonna use the chromis as the 1st fish in the tank you should get a nice wrasse instead.

I'd like to suggest getting the CUC from reef cleaners. You will not be disappointed. Just get one of the quick crews with or without hermits for a 60 gal tank. You will get a crazy amount of snails and hermits. Just don't get the 90 gal crew. He gives a lot of extras and it will be be way to many.

Thanks I will look into that!!

Not sure why chromis would affect a wrasse but you should add a nice wrasse to the list

It's not that it will affect the wrasse. It's a matter of would you prefer 3 chromis or a sick wrasse. I don't really like chromis so having them in a tank to me is having some fish taking up space adding bio load that a nicer fish can use.

Those chromis are pretty cool! kevan im gonna look into the wrasse but i like the way chromis school together. thats why i added them to the list.. could i have my list and just add a wrasse to it or would that be to much fish for a 90?

If you do get a clean up crew from Reef Cleaners whateveryou do make sure and check the price of buying them individually versus thepackages. I bought the 40 gallon with hermits package and paid $59.27 but itwould have been $32.20 if you purchased everything individually. You figurethat buying a package would be cheaper. On top of that I didn't get what Iordered and then on top of that I didn't get the refund that I should havegotten either. They still owe me $9.90 after the two partial refunds that Icouldn't get an explanation of how they derived the partial refund amounts.

For schooling I would go for anthias. I've read may threads stating that chromis may off one another or pair up and beat up the other. And then there are cases where they actually do well and school.
