Better start documenting these hybrids. [HASHTAG]#lineage[/HASHTAG]

Has anyone considered that if you have Hammer A that looks like the perfect hammer, it undergoes new/stressful conditions while reproducing new heads, these new stressed heads have a new look and reproduce normally producing the same appearance. It's still the same exact coral, except the polyps are changed slightly due to conditions.
I have six hammers in my tank, all with the typical hammer appearance ( ), except for the wall which is what most people consider an anchor shape which I've never seen a branching hammer have. 98% of my hammers have the normal appearance with a random underdeveloped polyp that has a weird shape etc, I think it's all natural and just takes time etc.
Without YEARS of hardcore documentation how do you know that one itsy bitsy polyp hasn't changed and a new one appeared in the same area? It's like when a meat coral changes shape it should be called something different.
If I had any bone to pick it would be with the classification of colors. Also, it doesn't matter how reputable a store is, a coral is a coral...are they going to tell you they got a freak of nature freebie or sell it for more, sell it for less, or maybe the same price as all the others with a unique name so you feel special...in the end it's business.
