Acorral 250g cube(ish) reef

Long time without posting...

Everything going great with the tank, a little cyano here and there but i guess it's normal...

Corals growing al coloring ok, fish doing fine, etc...

The led lamp looks great so I am re considering the spend of t5 fixture...

Did a Triton test, now that my aquarium is starting to have a baseline, here the results:

Lithium is HIGH again, I had the same in my old tank, so perhaps it is leaching from the rocks i am using from the old tank... and still far from the EXTRA high values on the old tank... My first suspect is the calcium chloride I use... will switch brand... any specific brand anybody is sure it doesnt has any unwanted stuff?

Tin is present, zinc is very high, Some copper present... Thinking about using cuprisorb for these... what else could I use to lower them?

Some goodies a little low... Mag, Iodine, Strontium, Boron... already correcting with additives but nothing of great concern

How do you like the shadow overflow?

It is great regarding looks, installation, simplicity etc...

Two things I don't like:

1. Salt creep forms around the external side cover.

2. Not as silent as other custom beananimal overflows i have or had...

I must say that perhaps those two things I don't like are because O am running it at it's limit, it is handling the flow of two vectra M1's at around 90%...

If I only turn on 1 vectra m1 at full power it is way more silent and less splashing on the external box.

In terms of would I buy it again for another tank? For sure ai would, but perhaps have two instead of 1...

Yesterday I added this wrasse couple:

The female is a little beaten, a neon wrasse started attacking her as soon as she got in... and the male went on hidding... today they are together again and the neon wrasse stopped the bullying.

Besides those two wrasses, I have ready after two months of QT, an Aistralian Harlequin Wrasse and a Niger Trigger (web photos)

But I am having second thoughts on adding them to the reef or not...

What would you do?

Looking great, did you add the trigger and tusk? I had both in my previous 300g reef and both did great.

Thanks, did not added the tusk nor the trigger...

Both fish eat like pigs and I am worried about them adding too much nutrients to the system... will keep them on a 200g propagation tank I am setting up so I may add them later when the corals are larger and the system is able to handle more nutrients.

I am worried also about small fish... randall goby, mandarinfish, neon wrasse, carpenter wrasses, blue eyed cardinals...
