Ai Prime 16HD Failure

My AI prime light is not working properly. I cannot connect to it to change settings. I cannot factory reset the device. I cannot do a live demo. It will still allow me to enable the schedule and feed mode, but that is it. Troubleshooting results in a bluetooth error. I have already restarted my phone. I am leaving for Christmas for 19 days starting next Thursday and I do not want to leave with faulty equipment. Please help!
 
Start doing some serious googling on how to do like a hard reset
I already tried the hard reset. It didn't even allow me to do the reset. It flashed red but did not flash blue and green afterwards which means the hard reset was unsuccessful. Do people honestly go through the trouble of posting here before doing a simple Google search?
 
In directions for reset says have unplugged and then hold button

And I’m just look at mine. No update for app. How bout done the device itself need an update. I know my Nero 3 needed one and screwed up all 7 of my ai devices

I cannot check for updates. It says something about a bluetooth timeout when I try.
