If your NO3 is undetectable, try upping it a bit (between 2.5 to 5 ppm). My NO3 and PO4 were both quite low, so I raised the nitrate level and within two days the snotty brown dinos were gone.

I'm on day 3 now and I haven't fed them. I was told not to and truthfully I don't think they would see to be able to eat anyway.

Lights back on and Dino all gone. Feel like I won. Still dosing, but I had a question. How soon should I do a water change?

Dose the h2o2 in 12 hour intervals
May have to hit it hard though more than the typical 1ml per 10g.
I don't have an exact amount as this next study I do with them is a few months out.

If you are running carbon and keeping filters clean then I would wait for a water change.

Filter socks are about a month old. Running the skimmer a little wet and I have some chemi pure blue bags in my sump jst sitting in a slow flow area. Topping off with RODI maybe 2-2.5 gallon every couple days.

I have been told 7 days but it varies. I was also told black out first for 3 days while dosing. So there is no "real" way to do it. Seems like H2O2 Dosing is still like a taboo type of treatment. Im good with it, seemed to work.

At 14 days check the tank. This so far is the minimum length of time for h2o2 and cyanobacteria

You can add a PH buffer but its much safer to use alk to raise the PH. the PH buffer raises it more quickly and can be dangerous if not used correctly

Day 4, Lights on last night. Still dosing H2O2 1 Ml per gallon 12 hours apart. Did a 10 Gallon water change today. Hammer coral doesnt seem as happy but everyone else is OK. Had 2 hermits die in the lights off period. Think they ate some of the dino before the lights out period. Saw a few of them messing with it prior. My 4 baby clowns, 2 baby Hippo tangs, Flame Hawk and Purple Dotty back ate like champs so for now, all is well, lets see what happens next. For now I feel like Ive won the battle. I really don't know what to do next. The dinos are only on the sand so I was thinking about removing as much of the sand as I could and adding new. Any thoughts on this?

I really don't know what to do next. The dinos are only on the sand so I was thinking about removing as much of the sand as I could and adding new. Any thoughts on this?

My Corals color faded some too. I covered up for 3 days no light, kept the powerheads on the whole time. I started dosing 1mg per 10 gallon every 12 hours. My lights have been back on and the dinos have not returned. I continued to dose every 12 hours, today is day 7. Hope this helps

Done everything you have but I'm dosing 10 ml for every 8g for the past 11 days.

The first couple of doses I used a syringe and shot the H2O2 right on the Dino. Not sure if that makes a difference but I know how frustrating it is.
