ALK drop, why?

I'm a little concerned Randy. Every morning my ALK tests 8.4. I upped the amount of each from 10ml 2x daily to 15ml 2x daily. Does this see like a lot?
Tonight I tested 2hrs after dosing and my ALK rose to 9.1. By morning it'll be back down to 8.4 Why can't I get it to stabilize?
I use a 10ml syringe, add doses in a high flow area of my sump between the bubble trap. I do it slowly, waiting 5-10min between each. I do this exactly the same each time.

My tank is all LPS & SPS

It seems to me it is very stable in the 8-9 dKH range, which is perfect.

I wouldn't mess with it, but if you want it higher, move the dose up again.

Omg you'd think after 5yrs reefing I'd learn to chill out a little. Guess some things just don't go away with age...my son says I worry to much

I’m having this same issue. Was doing great then all of a sudden my alk dropped but my ph stable 8.0 my calcium 550 but mg high at least from what I’ve read online (1490-1500) I have mostly softies and lps just two sps stylo frags. I killed my maxima clam in one day ughh so frustrating. I’m dosing seachem 2 part reef fusion 1 and 2 but haven’t been dosing the ca as ca at 550. Is that my issue maybe? I’m using a Hanna alk checker. Just purchased the Hanna alk calibration kit just to be certain.
