Andrew's nano in 90 build

Got the LED's secured into their permanent housing! dont mind the pictures they are taken with a cell phone :)

Here they are over the nano to show the color I get from them, im very happy with the way this little DIY build turned out.
the next step is to conceal the wires a little bit then get the fixture a hanging kit. Also note the sleek profile of the object i've chosen to enclose the LED's, this contributes to the nano's minimalist design that I hope to achieve

Where did you get the DIY LEDs ? Love the individual heat sinks. That's exactly what I want for my tank.
All of the stuff I ordered came directly from rapidled.com, the case I used to hold the LED's is actually the bottom of a desk lamp :) lol

Nice update and looks good!

Stocking the tank will officially begin tomorrow!!!, this is where the nano gets real reaaall fun :).

Nice job on the DIY led's!

The tank is officially ready to accept corals! got the lights hanging over the tank, As a side note, the royal blue LED's really play with the camera. the image looks ridiculously blue

ok here's my verification picture, it was a little hard because the tank is so small, hopefully nobody wants to give me a hard time about it :)

turns out, the rubbermaid top floats so that was a pain lol

Thanks a lot guys! i'll be stocking it with loads of corals tomorrow and real early on in the contest so they have a month or two to grow in :)

Ok guys its been a little while since I last updated! I have been a little bit busy preparing the house and yard for my open house this weekend, but I did find some time to snap a few decent pictures of the nano. I stocked it with quite a few frags and I regret to say that the few pictures I am providing tonight is merely a taste of what I've added. I'll also have to count up some various polyps I don't have a proof of purchase for and get a grand total, I suspect im around the $150ish range as far as coral goes.

Oh yeah, also just to be safe. these are cell phone pictures! I find the iphone extremely convenient when it comes to snapping a few quick pictures. I have to admit I have been a little lazy when it coms to breaking out the macro lens and taking 50 pictures to get one good one lol

Looking good, and beautiful looking plate posted earlier. Congrats on graduating and good luck with your open house coming up.
