Anemone Removal Invention

Just wanted to show off my anemone removal invention.

All you need is a piece of foam, a plastic cup and two long rubber bands. Cut a hole in the foam, cut off the bottom of the cup and make holes for the rubber bands.

Then, simply annoy the anemone until it closes up enough to put the foam over it. Finally, place the cup over the foam and use the rubber bands to hold it in place. The anemone will just walk out...

Nice work. I've just been using a large PVC Tee to do basically the same thing. Cut off the light source and make the nem crawl into the tube to reach the light.

Great idea! I may have to try that. Right now I have 6 anemones in containers ready to sell already.

They are very easy to get off glass. Just use something thin like a piece of plastic with a thin edge, but not sharp edge, preferably with rounded corners. Just slowly and carefully work it under the foot and work your way around the edge lifting gently.
