here is my picture exact piece and location in my reef look at the rocks around it

Have you reported the post to the RC Mods? In the past, they've been very quick to remove photos of mine that were used without permission.

I reported it, as "Possible" just cause it is not my picture, but I am sure you can prove that it is.

yup i just posted a pic of the chalice in his thread i dont want any one buying from him because he says he had this colony for over a year kinda funny when its in my tank

Sad that we have to go that extreme. People really suck most of the time, and seem to be getting worse. When someone steals a photo from someone else, what are they actually selling??? I guess I need to start adding watermarks, too. Not that I have much nice that people would want to steal, but good googity...

The guy states in his auction that the pics are of the mother colonies the frags he is selling came from. Could you have sold this guy a frag off this colony and now he is selling frags of his frag from you? He does not specifically say he is in posession of the mother colony.

I know it doesn't make it OK to use your pictures, but is this guy a former frag customer of yours, and could he maybe have the mistaken assumption he coud use a pic you posted on the net since his coral has lineage back to your colony?

Some people are not aware of proper etiquette regarding using pictures. I'm just trying to say that before too much blood gets in the water and a feeding frenzy starts, maybe the guy just made a mistake and is not a hardened criminal trying to rip people off.

Maybe he did, but is he selling frags with lineage back to this coral, or is he just trying to rip people off by selling a coral he has never owned?

Well I am also going to have to question his motives. It would be a different story if he left the pic as is and said this was the mother colony photo when i purchased a frag from another member.

But he mirrored the image and adjusted the colors and simple stated it was the mother colony. This would lead me to believe that the colony was in his tank and you are getting a frag from his colony

he is blowing smoke if he did by them from at any time he should of mentioned it in his thread and ask if he could use the picture to my recolection i did not sell him frags but also why alter the pic and make it seem alot brighter than it already is
