I'm considering one of these for a standard 20 gallon tank and just wanted to get some feedback on them. How do you like it? What are you able to keep? How long have you had it etc. Thanks. :)

I use this unit on my 20 tall. It's been running for a year and 8 months or so now. Been working great. Just a simple 2 channel light with dimmer control for intensity. I suggest you mount them between 12 and 16 inches above water level as they are bright. Plus, they will grow anything.

I'm thinking about purchasing 2 of these. I have a 60 gallon tank. Would y'all suggest that or 1 300 watt Mars Aqua.

My neighbor uses them and they work great. They're very basic but they're cheap and do the job.

I have 2 on my frag tank. Makes me regret buying the 6 XR30's for my main display.

2 16 in will give better coverage.

Yea, the SB are pretty sweet. the have a plain jane like the mars or the ramping

I have 2 marsaqua over my 50g tank. Working just fine.

Its not that blue, my phone just likes to make the blue pretty intense.

They have black box LEDs like Mars aqua with more options. I upgraded my Mars aqua with one of their boards. I wasn't happy with the color on the Mars aqua.
I would have to see a side by side comparison. I know alot of people claim they are better, I just can't take any ones word for it without me seeing it. It's easier to justify an $80 light than $130 for what looks like the same thing.

They're pretty strong. Shouldn't have a problem growing whatever you need

Oh wow, lots of room left on both channels..
For my 20 gallon I have the whites at the lowest setting and blues at about 40%

I also have the Popular Grow WIFI box. I do like that light better just because I can program it.

Would 1- 16" basic sbreefreef light be sufficient enough for a 48" long 60 gallon tank?
