I Had a green BTA in my 45 gallon that stayed where I put it for 6 months but when it wanted to split It would take a walk over to the overflow box and squeeze the clone/part of it through the slot in the overflow, split leave it there (pain to get out) and walk back to where it was before. It did sting corals on its route, it done the exact same thing 6 times over the course of having it a year an a half, but I learnt after the second time to move the corals out of its way and to another part of the tank ,slight rescape and just leave it a path. But kids came along and had to downsize so traded it in. Good luck keeping them still.<---- well theres one of them.
I guess what I'm asking is there any tips to helping them find a spot they like where you put them. Like if I made a small island with 1 or 2 holes for them to set their foot in...would that help?
