I use disposable latex gloves MOST of the time when I put my hands in the tank. Definitely when touching any living creature like corals. I tried the long gloves but they were a PITA.

I found a 16” nitrile glove on Amazon... They work great with my 14 gallon nano...I was searching through aquarium cleaning products on Amazon and came across long gloves.
