apistasia help

I was wondering no one suggested berhia nudibranch.. it really worked in my nano tank...

So 1 found an apastasia... again. last one was on powerhead so I could remove it to kill the thing. This one is on a rock that I really can't move easily. I tried the boiling water which I squirted in its mouth, it looked like it shriveled up good but came back a day later. I really don't want to use chemicals at this point. I have heard people use lemon juice or vinager. What are the proper ways to use and will it harm anything since it would need to be done in tank? Thanks in advance.
I've been using apatasiaX for years... never any bad side effect... always just a death of the Apatasia

Or of course stock up on a dozen of peppermints and slow down feeding too once a day! They will do work for you!

I would leave it alone till it comes in. Aiptasia doesn't spread unless it has a reason. You won't be sorry you waited. Aiptasia x is good stuff!!!
Sadly that's not true.

Aiptasia multiply rapidly when the conditions allow.

They will spread a-sexually and sexually. Any small amount of anemone left on the rock will regrow as will any cells left on rock following movement of the nem.
Planula are released in to the water column when threatened.

Aiptasia x is really only a basic control. Simply put the case would be closed after the the first couple of treatments.

Aiptasia can be a PITA if not kept in check.

Natural control methods such as filefish , berghia, peppermint shrimp, copperbands can be effective.

Alternative methods include (and some of whicb as mentioned earlier) lemon juice, boiling water, superglue, chemicals aka aiptasia x and Joe's juice or for the more adventurous a magic wand or electrode.

There are then the bizarre including laser pointers and blow torches.

Ultimately unless you get the whole thing....it will return or legacy of it.

They are not the end of the world, just stay on top of them. I wait around a month and zap them with X, I do see some in places that I cannot reach way in the back down low and just let them be, definitely not gonna nuke the tank just to get rid of all of them. They probably even serve some kind of good purpose for the reef hanging out in out of reach places. Best advice is to keep them under control, don't let them go unchecked for months on end and you will be fine.

I added 4 burghias last week, my tank is on the verge of a complete aphasia take over.

I've tried lemon juice, apstesia x, kalk paste, joes juice, boiling water, and super glue. All worked great eliminating the apstesia. But they come back with a vengeance after couple weeks - couple months.

The thing that completely obliterated the apstesia in my tank is a peppermint shrimp. It's been about 8 or 10 months now, and I'm still apstesia free.

I use a holistic approach and purchased peppermint shrimp they ate them all. I had a lot of the apistasia in my 60 gallan reef tank.

I always found that a small unit of peppermint shrimp helped take out my aptasia pests.

Aiptasia-X or Joe's Juice especially for the larger ones. Peppermint Shrimp will keep them under control by going after the smaller ones.

I can't say whether it works on aiptasia or not but I have used vinegar to kill some yellow polyps that had somehow come up in a colony of zoas that were out growing them. I just filled a syringe with vinegar and poked the needle into the polyp and injected the vinegar into each polyp. It worked in minutes with no ill effect to my surrounding zoas or any other tank inhabitants
