You should be able to find the ip for the lights through you home network wireless router. Then setup the light through the app that way. Call tech support and they will walk you through it in a couple of minutes:)

You run your uv and dark blue all night?..I'm guessing that's moonlighting, any benefits to that? Sorry I'm kind of new to advanced lighting
 
Does anyone run weather or lunar mode? Can you explain them, can I run weather mode just for cloud simulation and not thunderstorms?

Lunar mode at 1% it is pretty cool effect at night. Did you get the light setup so that they can be set remotely?

Yeah I think, I'm showing I'm in the cloud on the iPhone and the iPad is set up on Local. I haven't left the house yet but I think I got it. Thanks.
So what exactly is lunar mode?

What should my start and end times be?
The lunar mode follow the moon phases and the light will like the tank without the intensity of running the lights on the day time settings. I run mine at %1 after the ramp down till the ramp up. I run mine from 10Pm to 8am. For example right now with the new mood the tank is dark, but as the moon phase goes to a full moon the light get brighter. The same goes for as the moon goes to a new moon phase the light dim.

As I stated before it pretty cool for the reason at night one can see the tank and what ever comes out at night. My thought is also it help with the natural cycle that the fish, corals, inverts experience in the wild.
 


Green stays at 0, red only for me as needed but mainly blues up to 75% and white at 45% I do keep uv and violet on as "moonlight" but only at 1%
 
Does anyone know how the red and green affect the aquarium? I'm hearing those are the colors that promote algae.

What I mean by this is, what are the real values of the spectrum that these lights give as output? (so we can do some real biomimicry here)

What time are the Reds,Greens,Whites,Blues and Royal blues drop and/or peak?

Ecotech's Coral Lab did a study with a couple of different spectrums/schedules and compared results in this document (page 7). SPS AB+ had very favorable results, so many hobbyists have recreated that with their settings on Radions or the equivalent on other lights. Other than trying to mimic a specific spectrum to get maximum results, folks also try to balance that with a look that's visually appealing to them. So a lot of the settings and schedules you find online are a combination of the two.

Can I humbly ask the logic behind the spectrum on this schedule? ( I am interested in building a case here)
 
I'm far from an expert on lighting and I'm not exactly sure how this user came up with this, but I'm guessing it's a combination of spectrum and color preference. On the spectrum bit, the 420-470 range is one of the most beneficial for coral, so that combined with the blues and UVs bringing out the flourescence of coral and making it more visually appealing is the main reason most people have their blues so high up. It makes the colors pop and is great for coral health.

On greens, only a small piece of the spectrum is useful to coral and it's mostly to help blend other colors, so most people don't have their greens up. On reds, I believe it helps the coral determine it's depth, but isn't crucial for coral health. Whites are good for growth and health, but aren't as visually appealing, so that's why you typically see a lot more white than green/red, but much less than the blues.

The last bit of the equation is the final spectrum you're lighting the tank with, which changes slightly with the adjustment of every single color. So when the blues are jacked up, it hits that sweet spot well, but that slightly changes (either for the better or worse, in regards to the total spectrum) as you adjust other channels. Long story short, having high spikes in the 450 and 600 range is pretty much universally considered to be the most beneficial spectrum for coral growth, health, and color. So generally, people will try to make their setup as close to that as possible, while also being visually appealing.

I'll say again that I'm far from an expert on lighting, so someone may have to correct some of what I said, but that's the general gist of it.

You'll notice my whites simulate a high noon situation in the early afternoon, then slowly start fading down, while my blues stay high for most of the day. Eventually, everything fades into a moonlight setting, which simulates the patterns of an actual lunar cycle.
